The German pencil maker Stabilo has been producing pens and pencils for over 150 years. They were founded in Nuremberg, in the year 1855, next door to Staedtler and Faber-Castell. The area attracted pencil makers due to its plentiful graphite and clay deposits, providing important materials for production. Today, Stabilo offers a huge collection of pens and pencils for both office use and the creative arts. Their most popular pen is the Stabilo Point 88 fineliner, which is available in a complete colour palette of around 50 shades. The Stabilo Boss highlighter is another classic, now available in pastel colours.
